Temporary Origami (origami provvisorio) is a workshop facilitated by Annalisa Casagranda of the MART Museum in Rovereto, in which participants experimented with the idea of ephemeral works through a project that explored the concepts of transience and reversibility. The temporary origami created during the activity were paper forms based on designs developed by the participants, which, upon contact with water, opened to reveal the original design. The origami designs and the movement of the paper on the surface of the water were also the protagonists of the video that ended the workshop, which was created for the occasion by OHT to discuss the participants’ artworks. The project, accompanied by the music of Olafur Arnalds, was conducted in collaboration with MART Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto.
